The Client = You

The copyright to these recordings is owned by MSP.  However, license is granted to the client to use the song as they wish, in perpetuity, without any further cost than the fee paid for the final work supplied by MSP. One fee is all the client pays, ever. Therefore, MSP may use the same track to lay different vocals and different lyrics for a different club without question from a previous client with the same track. 

 

In the case the client has written the lyrics, copyright on the lyrics belongs to the client. MSP agree to not promote reuse of the original lyrics written by the client with any future clients. However, it is agreed and understood by the client that in particular sports, there is only a certain amount of particular terminology pertaining to that sport so it is expected, at some point, this terminology may be used in different club songs.  MSP takes no liability if they are employed to record the song that has partially the same lyrics as another club song recorded earlier by MSP.  

 

In the cases where MSP has written all the lyrics, MSP owns full copyright of the recordings and lyrics. However, license is granted to the client to use the song as they wish, in perpetuity, without any further cost than the fee paid for the arrangement, performance, recording, mixing and mastering of the song by MSP. One fee is all the client pays, ever.

In the cases where MSP has written all lyrics and music, MSP owns full copyright of the recordings. However, license is granted to the client to use the song as they wish, in perpetuity, without any further cost than the fee paid for the arrangement, performance, recording, mixing and mastering of the song by MSP. As such, MSP has the right to offer other, new and potential clients the use of the arrangement created by MSP. 

 

The client allows MSP to play the finished master copy of the recording on the MSP website and social pages as an example of the previous MSP projects.

In projects where a 50% payment initiates work, initial payments are non-refundable once work begins. If the project is not finished and/or the full payment isn't received within 12 months of starting work, through no fault of Sport Songs, the balance will reflect current pricing.
